I apologize for using English on the forum, but I just arrive in Sweden in the Stockholm area (Bålsta).

My name is Patrice, I'm 36 and I come from Belgium. I hunt both small and big game with a gun or with a bow. This year will be my first season in Sweden, so I will have a lot of questions :P

    Sadly you'll find that the whole forum's in Swedish but perhaps you're a fast learner?

    Bowhunting is still illegal in Sweden as you might know but there are vague hopes that it some day will be allowed...

    Hunting in Sweden is great, really great to be honest, but we do have our laws and regulations as most other countries so I'd recommend reading up a bit.

    Also you'll be needing Jägarexamen in order to be granted firearms permits and that's a great place to start learning about our flora and fauna.
